Intermediate to Advanced
This journey is designed for riders who already have experience with horses and are comfortable riding independently at walk, trot and canter.
The journey includes several hours on horseback, beach riding, uneven trails, mountain landscapes and opportunities for faster riding where conditions allow.
You don't need to be a professional rider, but you should feel confident and comfortable in the saddle for extended periods.
Not recommended for complete beginners.
Day 1 — Agadir → Tamri
Hakuna Matata — Welcome to the Journey
We begin our journey from Agadir and head north along Morocco's Atlantic coast toward Tamri.
After settling into the ranch and meeting our local hosts and horses, we'll take a relaxed first ride around Imi Ouadar, discovering the coastline, small trails and surrounding landscapes.
This first day is about getting into the rhythm of the journey — meeting the group, connecting with the horses and enjoying the relaxed Hakuna Matata atmosphere.
We'll finish the day with a beautiful sunset, dinner and a peaceful evening at the ranch.
Day 2 — Tamri
Into the Wild Side of Tamri
Today we discover the landscapes that make Tamri so special.
We'll ride through the river, valleys, banana plantations and local villages, meeting people along the way and experiencing the area from horseback.
Depending on the weather and sea conditions, we'll also head toward the Atlantic coast for some beach riding and canters.
After a full day exploring Tamri, we'll return to the ranch for dinner and another evening surrounded by nature.
Day 3 — Sidi Kaouki
Wild Atlantic Riding
After breakfast, we leave Tamri and continue north toward Sidi Kaouki, a small coastal village known for its wild beaches and laid-back Atlantic atmosphere.
We'll meet our local riding partners and set out on horseback to explore the coastline, riding along open beaches and natural trails.
With the ocean beside us and plenty of space to ride, this is a day about freedom, horses and the Atlantic.
We'll spend the night in Sidi Kaouki and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this coastal village.
Day 4 — Essaouira
The Wind City
Today we continue our journey to Essaouira.
We'll discover the landscapes around the city on horseback before taking time to explore its historic heart.
We'll walk through the Medina, discover the old fishing port and explore the famous Kasbah and Skala, while experiencing the unique mix of Moroccan, Amazigh and Atlantic culture.
We'll finish the day with a relaxed evening in Essaouira, enjoying the city's food, atmosphere and ocean breeze.
Day 5 — Essaouira → Ouarzazate
Crossing Morocco
Today we leave the Atlantic behind and begin one of the most spectacular parts of our journey.
We'll travel from Essaouira toward Ouarzazate, crossing the Moroccan landscape and watching it transform from the ocean and green countryside into mountains, valleys and dry landscapes.
This is our longest road-trip day, giving us the chance to simply sit back, enjoy the scenery and experience the incredible diversity of Morocco.
We'll arrive in Ouarzazate, settle into our accommodation and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner before resting for the next day's adventure.
Day 6 — Ouarzazate
The Gateway to the Desert
Today we get back in the saddle and discover a completely different side of Morocco.
Our local riding partners will take us through the dramatic landscapes around Ouarzazate, riding through dry valleys, rocky trails and wide open landscapes.
We'll explore the traditional architecture and landscapes that have made this region famous around the world, with time to discover local places and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of southern Morocco.
We'll finish our final riding day with a beautiful sunset before enjoying our last evening together.
Day 7 — Ouarzazate → Agadir
The Journey Home
After a slow breakfast, we begin our journey back toward Agadir.
As we cross the mountains and valleys once again, we'll have one last chance to appreciate how much the landscape has changed since the beginning of our adventure.
From the Atlantic Ocean and wild beaches to the High Atlas, valleys and desert landscapes, we've experienced several completely different sides of Morocco in just one week.
We'll arrive back in Agadir and say goodbye after seven days of horses, landscapes, local encounters and unforgettable moments.
